This last weekend Scott and I loaded up the CRV and made our way to the Downtown Chandler Farmers Market. We had about four buckets of mostly sunflowers, a tent, a couple of tables, and some odds and ends I put together to help us set up our first booth.

We have been working on our backyard flower field since we moved in January and it was such a thrill to have enough flowers to take them down to the market and share them with the community. We primarily had sunflower bunches for sale and will likely continue to for the rest of the market. We have other flowers planted and are just waiting on them to bloom.

Our first market was a success for us. We sold out of our flowers in the first hour of the market. We learned a lot on Saturday and are excited to implement our knowledge in the upcoming weeks.

We will have even more flowers this week and we can’t wait to keep on bringing our local community our beautiful blooms!
