We Moved!

So many people have been asking me why I haven’t been posting here lately. Actually, no one asked, but I’m sure they would have. It is winter in Sedona and there wasn’t a lot of flower related content. Oh and also we moved!

I would be crazy to say that Sedona was not one of the most incredible places to live in the whole world. We were so lucky to live in the beauty of red rock country, especially during the worst part of the pandemic. We could hike, explore nature, and not feel like our lives changed too drastically. The good thing that happened for us in Sedona paved the way for more good things to come in the Phoenix area now.

Our old view in Sedona

While there is absolutely no comparison between the natural beauty of Sedona, there is so much that we are excited for in Gilbert.

The house we moved to has about the same amount of land that our home in Sedona had. We are already hard at work planning our flower beds and our garden. The yard is pretty “raw” and has so much untapped potential! We can’t wait to figure out how to grow here!

New yard in Gilbert!

We are also so excited to have more community. We can already tell that the people in the East Valley are wonderful. One of the things that is very true about Sedona is that it is a retirement community. I am so grateful for our connections up there and the lovely folks we met! I am also so excited to meet more people and get to know them more here in Gilbert.

We have already started to plant out here and are going to have flowers for sale starting in April. Please stay tuned for ways you can support Red Dirt Flowers and ways that you can purchase beautiful bouquets!
