I am so excited for our first flowers to bloom and to share them with our local community. If all goes well we will be starting the market the first Saturday of April – the 2nd. We have our first plants of 2022 in the ground! With the move we had to get things going a bit later than we would have liked to in our growing zone. That said, we have so many days of wonderful warm months ahead that iit is hard to feel too bad. So many people have been asking me why I haven’t been posting here lately. Actually, no one asked, but I’m sure they would have. It is winter in Sedona and there wasn’t a lot of flower related content. Oh and also we moved! The leaves are changing and the days are growing shorter. Autumn is a great time to plan your garden for next year and enjoy the last summer blooms before winter sets in. As a new grower there are some more jargon heavy phrases that I hear quite often. This last week I went to my favorite place… Trader Joe’s! I know that is likely a regular occurrence for most folks but when the closest one is over an hour away it is a real treat.
